Outdoor furniture and accessories for outdoor living will take centre stage in the new Formland hall, which is dedicated to the terrace, forest, beach and heathland themes. In the same hall, you'll find the dining area, for which exhibitors have high expectations at this year's edition of Formland Autumn. The trade fair will take place on 20-22 August 2023 at MCH Messecenter Herning.
Meandering paths, edible landscapes, layered lighting, relaxing water features and outdoor spaces for children, sleep, socialising, office, fitness, wellness and cooking are among the most popular outdoor trends of the moment - and they will all be in the spotlight in Formland's new outdoor hall, which will be presented for the first time at Formland Autumn this year.
Here, exhibitors such as HAY and Louis Poulsen will showcase the latest examples of beautifying features for the garden and outdoor living in general.
- We have created a unique exhibition universe where we invite Danish nature inside in the form of elements from the forest, heath, beach and sea. The lighting in the hall will change between night and day as the projections on the area's screens change expression. Overall, the hall is an illusion of the outdoors, and we work with the senses of taste, sight, smell, touch and hearing, says Head of Design at Formland Charlotte Hedegaard Johannesen, who designed the new outdoor hall.
The content of the hall, curated by trend expert Mads Arlien-Søborg, will in addition to the exhibition include several workshops and various other activities.
Expectant dining exhibitors
In the same hall, you'll find the dining area, and among the exhibitors in this area, anticipation is high before the trade fair.
- We expect to meet enthusiastic customers who want to promote our brands this autumn, and it is our ambition to use the trade fair to convey our way of working with the square metres in the shops. We look forward to showing how strong and convincing we can present ourselves, says Michelle Bergø, Sales Director at Rosendahl Design Group, and reveals what the visitors may expect:
- We present an inspirational universe that challenges the parameters of Christmas table setting, whether you prefer the lavishly imaginative or the minimalistic Christmas table. We will introduce new products, which each have their little universe and which are presented in beautiful surroundings.
Michelle Bergø emphasises that as an exhibiting company at Formland, you reach a wide range of customers - and that the trade fair allows Rosendahl Design Group to showcase its eight brands convincingly.
Exhibitor: The most important trade fair of the year
Among the other exhibitors in the dining area, you will find Georg Jensen, who is looking forward to presenting both new products as well as other ranges in beautiful surroundings, where professionalism, storytelling, inspiration and not least networking, in the company's own words, are at the top of the agenda.
- Formland is the most important trade fair of the year for us. Because it is specifically at Formland that we meet our most important shops, speak with our most loyal customers and at the same time present our most significant launches of the year. This is where we can talk professionalism with our customers, create inspiration and cultivate the community so that the entire industry is better prepared for the important Christmas shopping season. We always look forward to attending Formland, and this year is certainly no exception," says Maha Haven, Sales Manager at Georg Jensen.
She emphasises the importance of being mutually inspired at the trade fair - explaining that while Georg Jensen wants to inspire its customers and other visitors, it also considers it a great advantage to be inspired by the visitors.
- Meeting our customers at the trade fair is a great window for us to receive direct feedback on new launches as well as generate new ideas for the future range, says Maha Haven.
