In January 2024, Maya Soele® took part in the very first CRAFT Festival at Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen – an event dedicated to celebrating craftsmanship, skill, and inspiring stories. The festival was opened by Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, Chairman of EuroSkills, and featured a dynamic program of talks, presentations, and competitions, including “The Battle for Great Craftsmanship,” where talented professionals competed for the top spot.

At our stand, we welcomed a steady stream of visitors – from young apprentices and students to experienced professionals and curious guests. It was a unique opportunity to showcase the Maya Soele® collection and hear honest feedback directly from those whose skills and professions our designs represent.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. Many visitors smiled and said: “I’d love to get one of those when I graduate.” It confirmed what we already believed – that Maya Soele® designs resonate far beyond their original inspiration. Whether you’re a craftsman, a student, or working in a completely different field, it’s meaningful to receive a gift that symbolises expertise, passion, and pride.

The festival proved that the Maya Soele® collection can bring joy and recognition across industries and backgrounds – because celebrating skill is truly universal.
