Table lamp and lampshade with our beautiful Majdalen design.
The base is a hand-turned wooden base in oak, and the shade is handmade by a lampmaker in Copenhagen.
The textile is woven at Ekelunds weaving mill in Sweden, which is a GOTS certified factory.
The Majdalen design is inspired by the beautiful rift valley of the same name, located in Almindingen in the middle of Bornholm. The beautiful valley exudes adventure and magic. Above the valley you can see the big sky with a touch of sunshine on
The table lamp is made to order, so you must allow approx. 1 month. production time from ordering.

Fewer Better Things is one of the cornerstones of our company. We design textiles within art and lifestyle, and our designs are all deeply inspired by the strong Bornholm nature. We produce our classic textile designs in Denmark and Sweden, in natural materials. We hand-weave textile art for both exhibitions and private orders, based on the colors, structures and textures that nature gives us every day.
We convey the beautiful Nordic nature through our design and choice of materials, and find peace and balance in our daily walk in the Nordic nature that surrounds us.
