GodtBornholm

Unique fishermen sweater in a new design by Stine Godt.
Material: 100% merino.

The design is inspired by the proud Bornholm fishing tradition.

Since the fishermen sweater is originally a work sweater, Stine has chosen to be faithful to the original function.
This means for the design that the lower body has a flat pattern, as the fishing pants went up to the middle of the chest, and the sweater sat down in these.
Whereas the upper body must be able to withstand wind and cold and is therefore knitted in a coarser pattern.

The model comes both as a factory model (black) that is knitted and sewn in Denmark, as well as a hand-knitted model (white, gray and brown) in Bornholm merino yarn, which is a small niche yarn in very small quantities.

Sizes:
Black (factory): Small, Medium, Large and X-Large
White/Gray/Brown (hand-knitted): Small/Medium, Medium/Large

Fewer Better Things is one of the cornerstones of our company. We design textiles within art and lifestyle, and our designs are all deeply inspired by the strong Bornholm nature. We produce our classic textile designs in Denmark and Sweden, in natural materials. We hand-weave textile art for both exhibitions and private orders, based on the colors, structures and textures that nature gives us every day.
We convey the beautiful Nordic nature through our design and choice of materials, and find peace and balance in our daily walk in the Nordic nature that surrounds us.
