At Formland August 2026, VEMOT presents its first complete collection — six scented candles built from personal memory across the Nordic landscape.
Each fragrance is rooted in a specific place, room or moment. A Finnish countryside childhood. A family sawmill. Gardens tended across Scandinavia. Summers in Spain. A career spent in textile and fashion ateliers across Europe. These are not constructed atmospheres — they are earned ones.
The six scents are WORKROOM, SILENT GREEN, ARCHIVE, AFTERIMAGE GARDEN, NIGHTSWIMMING and ATELIER 1887. Developed with perfumers in Grasse. Hand-poured in the Stockholm Archipelago. Natural soy wax. Presented in a collection that sits above Rituals and below Byredo in the Nordic luxury market.
VEMOT takes its name from the Swedish and Norwegian word vemod — the bittersweet awareness of beauty in the moment of its passing. It is a brand for people who notice rooms. Who carry certain places inside them long after they have left.
