10.00 - 10.30 | Speak Up - Hall D

A keynote on the store’s role as a cultural counterpoint in an era where retail is threatened by uniformity, e-commerce, and aesthetic fatigue. The talk also emphasizes store employees as carriers of knowledge, experience, and aesthetics—and how their role can reclaim the status and respect it once held.

Trend researcher and lifestyle expert Mads Arlien-Søborg makes the case for why stores should once again become local cultural spaces, created by passionate and dedicated people.

11.00 - 11.30 | Speak Up - Hall D

Get ready for the season’s product and color choices with Pej Group’s commercial trends and color directions for SS26. This keynote provides a comprehensive overview of the zeitgeist, megatrends, and four trend themes — each presented with mood boards, color combinations, and concrete recommendations for purchasing, styling, and communication.

Trend editor Mette Lykkegaard From brings years of experience in developing and presenting Pej Group’s trend material at conferences and trade fairs. She delivers the content with a strong focus on relevance for professionals in the interior industry.

11.00 - 11.30 | Lounge - Hall E

In a time marked by uncertainty and unrest, we are seeking love, happiness, joy, and a sense of security more than ever. We long for a lighter, more carefree life.

Trend expert Anette Eckmann demonstrates how retail stores can inspire customers with collections, colors, stories, and experiences that spark joy and create unique shopping moments.

Drawing inspiration from Italy and the lifestyle of La Dolce Vita, this trend is all about self-indulgence, beautiful surroundings, good food, wine, relaxation, and living in the moment—just like in Fellini’s iconic film classic.

"La Dolce Vita" has become a symbol of joy, luxury, and indulgence—and that is exactly what customers are looking for today.

12.30 - 13.00 | Speak Up - Hall D

Ian Wisler-Poulsen explores how to strengthen relationships with customers and colleagues. Service complexity is increasing, and while many choose the easiest solution, the human interaction with an employee remains crucial for loyalty and advocacy.

Companies often have strong values, yet employees lack clear behavioral guidelines — and are simultaneously affected by self-overestimation, the greatest bias in behavioral psychology. Ian focuses on how each individual can become the best version of themselves through the ability to interact effectively with others.

13.00 - 13.30 | Speak Up - Hall D

After years of inflation, crises, and caution, optimism is slowly returning. Consumers remain conscious, but they are ready to start shopping again—just with a little more thought. In this keynote, trend researcher Louise Byg Kongsholm offers a timely insight into how the economy, the spirit of the times, and consumer behavior are evolving—and why a “ketchup effect” might soon be on the horizon.

The focus is not only on trends and numbers, but also on the values, attitudes, and actions that drive us as people and consumers—and how these shape our choices, expectations, and the way we create growth.

12.00 - 12.15 | Trend Zone - Hall H

14.00 - 14.30 | Speak Up - Hall D

How can we use that knowledge to develop solutions that strengthen the connection between people, spaces, products, and brands?

In this talk, anthropology, sensory research, and environmental psychology come together to offer a vivid insight into how spatial choices, design language, colors, and materials influence our experiences and behavior—often without us even noticing.

We journey from humanity’s early sensory instincts to today’s complex world to uncover what we’ve forgotten and what we can rediscover.

The presentation provides sharp insights and practical tools that can make a real difference for people in the near future.
