Paper Love salon & workshop - Learn to fold unique stars from parchment paper with Pernille Folcarelli.

Join the paper salon where Pernille Folcarelli will teach you how to fold various types of paper stars that you can use as decorations for windows, branches, and Christmas trees, or on gift packages, as table decorations, or adornments on this year's Christmas cake. The technique is simple, and everyone can participate. You will get to take the finished paper stars home.

Pernille Folcarelli is a designer and plant artist, and many will know her for her botanical prints on paper and textiles. Pernille has a deep love for paper and carefully selects paper qualities for her unique plant prints. But alongside the botanical images, Pernille has also embraced paper folding, often using paper scraps from her studio or parchment paper and kitchen paper.

Paper folding is an ancient technique originally from China. However, it is in Japan that paper folding, also known as origami, evolved into an art form and became part of traditional daily life, serving ceremonial and educational purposes.

At the salon, Pernille will share her work with paper, both as a foundation for her prints and as a material for decorations and unique paper creations. You will be guided through a relaxing paper folding session and learn techniques that you can continue to work on at home.
