With a background as a trend researcher at Pejgruppen, news editor at Bo Bedre, and an independent design consultant and journalist, he advises companies within the design and lifestyle industry about future trends. Mads also frequently appears in Danish and international magazines and newspapers and has hosted the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) programs "Vilde Huse" (Wild Houses) and "Vilde Hoteller" (Wild Hotels).

Emilie Bausager:

Emilie will talk about her work in garden design, her background as an artist, and her upbringing in English garden culture, as well as the many new garden trends, including wild nature and sustainability, that have emerged in Danish gardens in recent years.

Emilie Bausager is an award-winning garden architect and artist. Born in London and living in Copenhagen for the past ten years, she draws on her partly British and partly Danish heritage to find inspiration for unique spaces. Her design style combines an eclectic aesthetic influenced by historical references with a Scandinavian sense of sustainability and nature. With a BA and MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and a diploma in Garden Design from "The English Gardening School," Emilie has developed a studio that focuses on a holistic approach to garden design. She blends her creative education with practical needs to create landscapes that function for everyday life while still engaging with imagination and whimsy. Since opening her studio, Emilie has worked with clients in both the UK and Denmark, splitting her time between the two countries. She has designed several exhibition gardens and won multiple awards, including a gold medal at CPH Garden and a 'silver gilt' at the Chelsea Flower Show in London.

16.00 - 16.30 | Building strong brand relationships: The significance of content

The relationship between retailers and brands is undergoing rapid change. The march of digitalization brings with it the need for content - content to drive traffic, content to sell products. Without a strong narrative, a pair of jeans is just a pair of jeans. So, why not opt for the cheapest option? In other words, failing to create a compelling story runs the risk of undermining both the brand and its pricing. How can one succeed in this endeavor? Who bears the responsibility for content production, and what does a successful partnership between retailer and brand look like?

Join VOCAST Co-founder Jens Hamborg Koefoed in a discussion with selected retailer and brand, where they share best practices through personal experiences and anecdotes.
