H. Skjalm P.

H. Skjalm P. was founded in 1953 by Hagbarth Skjalm Petersen and his spouse. Hagbarth Skjalm Petersen was an avant-garde entrepreneur who was always one of the first designers to introduce new colours, shapes and graphic expression in interior room design. This quickly attracted the design-conscious Copenhagener's attention, and the company's popularity skyrocketed thanks to the latest designs in home textiles, applied arts and interiors that could be found in the store.

All collections still take their starting point from the original philosophy of our company: high quality design made of natural materials.

For many years, H. Skjalm P. has also focused on sustainable production of high quality with organic GOTS certified textiles. Throughout the years, not only has H. Skjalm P. become a recognised design brand in Denmark, but it has also gained popularity in the rest of the world.
