Designed by Tashi Goldring for Artisan Links. Contemporary pattern derived from the traditional Tarshumar motif makes this piece one of a kind. Tarshumar also known as Hazara embroidery, first originated in central Afghanistan. ‘Tar’ means thread, and ‘shumar’ means counting. It takes 20 - 25 days of handwork to complete this piece. We suggest cherishing the piece now and for many more years to come.
