These Syrian bed covers are woven at a family-owned atelier in southeastern Turkey right at the border to Syria.
The bedspread is 100% of locally harvested cotton with damask patterns.
Our partner-family in southeastern Turkey have been weaving and producing their own silk and cotton since the early 1900’s. Having learned this skill from the Armenians in Syria, they are keeping this precious industry alive.
