Leone startede i en lille konfekturebutik nær Alba, hvor Luigi Leone skabte sine første pastiller med pebermynte, kanel og kryddernellike. Fra de beskedne begyndelser erobrede mærket hurtigt det kongelige hof i Torino og blev officiel leverandør til huset Savoia.
I dag er Leone Italiens mest elskede pastilmærke - og det er let at forstå hvorfor. Hver pastil kombinerer autentiske smagsoplevelser med smukt designede æsker, der er lige så meget en fryd for øjet som for ganen.
