Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world, and the need for development is enormous. We believe that the best way to
contribute to the positive development of Nepal is by creating good and sustainable
jobs.
From the very beginning, it has been important that all work should take place under
fair and orderly conditions, and that workers should be paid a decent wage for
their work. It was therefore with great pleasure that Gry & Sif was certified
by the World Fair Trade Organization in 2009.

Gry & Sif is a fair trade certified Danish company. Gry & Sif manufacture decorative felt products for the home. The felt products are made from 100% wool from New Zealand. Gry & Sif is a Danish design, but the handwork is made in Nepal by very skilled Nepalese women. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and the need for development is enormous. Gry & Sif has a vision to combine Scandinavian design with Nepalese traditions, and help improve living conditions in Nepal, as well as contribute to cozy surroundings in every home.
