Hvile Living
At Hvile Living, we create cushions for those who love classic design and seek to unite comfort with aesthetics. Each cushion is a natural extension of the chair’s form and craftsmanship – shaped with respect for lines, proportions, and materials. The result is chairs that invite you to rest, while gaining a personal touch that brings warmth and character to any space.
The company began as a personal project and a fascination with how small details can transform the feeling of a piece of furniture. I bring that same passion to Formland, where I present cushions designed as a seamless continuation of the chair itself.

We participate at Formland Autumn 2026
This season, Ib Laursen presents a collection shaped by atmosphere, natural materials, and thoughtful styling. Three distinct themes – Reflections, Grounded, and Adorn – frame the visual direction of the catalogue, each capturing a key expression of the season’s trends and translating them into inspiring, retail-ready universes.
Reflections explores a quiet, pared-back aesthetic, where considered details and silent moments define the space. Here, everyday objects are given room to stand out – subtle, tactile, and timeless.
Grounded brings warmth and depth into focus. Natural textures and earthy tones create a welcoming setting – a space

We work with a clean, Nordic design language where minimalist forms and simple lines meet tactile surfaces and natural materials. Our concrete and wood furniture is made in small series with a long-term mindset – for calm, timeless spaces at home, in cafés, shops or offices, where each piece feels solid, tactile and personal.
