Behind every excellent and original idea stands a curious mind. For Njord, it’s the two curious minds of friends Lars Toke and Troels that drives their innovation in the world of spirits.
What began as a keen interest in gin transformed into a full-time passion in 2014. Since then, they and their dedicated team have been crafting distinct and avant-garde spirits at Denmarks first distillery originally devoted to gin.

Since 2006, we at Sprit & Co have supplied wine, spirits, glasses and bar equipment to bars, cafes, restaurants and retailers throughout the country. We have the agency for a number of strong quality brands, which means that we are the ones who represent them on the Danish market. But in addition, we also act as a wholesaler, and our warehouse therefore holds all established spirits brands, so we can cover every need from our customers.

Founded by nine unlikely friends at an equally unlikely place on the
West Coast of Denmark, Stauning is Denmark’s first multi-award
winning whisky distillery.
We had no whisky secrets passed on aside of ‘cheers’ and with no
traditions of our own, we leaned on our curiosity, the best of the
past and what’s at hand.
All our whiskies are made using only locally harvested barley and
rye from the windswept fields near our distillery. We do our own
floor malting – like in the old days. There are easier ways for sure.

Wild Distillery Bornholm
