GodtBornholm

Hammershus Blue dish towel.

The color is called Hammershus Blue, and is the first in a mini series.

The design is inspired by the sea and sky around Hammershus on Bornholm. The Hammershus ruin is built of beautiful reddish-brown stones, and is located high on a hill. The ruin is surrounded by the blue shades of the Baltic Sea and the sky.

The textile is woven in a very durable twill weave, which will last a long time if you take care of your tea towel.
It is woven at Ekelund linen mill in Sweden, which is a GOTS certified factory whose proud history dates back to the 18th century. The factory is a royal court supplier.

Material: 55% cotton / 45% linen.

Fewer Better Things is one of the cornerstones of our company. We design textiles within art and lifestyle, and our designs are all deeply inspired by the strong Bornholm nature. We produce our classic textile designs in Denmark and Sweden, in natural materials. We hand-weave textile art for both exhibitions and private orders, based on the colors, structures and textures that nature gives us every day.
We convey the beautiful Nordic nature through our design and choice of materials, and find peace and balance in our daily walk in the Nordic nature that surrounds us.
