Introducing bio plastic toys made of wheat

There is a strong focus on sustainability in most industries, and this also applies to toys. This can involve material choices, environmental impact, and production location. It is also important that products made for children comply with all required standards and regulations.
Our new bioplastic series is made with 30% wheat straw. In addition to wheat being a much more environmentally friendly crop that does not require the clearing of existing forests to grow new crops, it also results in a very fine product in terms of color and texture, which fits extremely well with the Nordic market.
There is no fixed definition of when a product can be called bioplastic, but we follow the guidelines of the interest organization European Bioplastics, which states that a product must contain 20-25% biomass. Our series contains 30%.
We have also conducted our own tests on all products, so we are 100% sure that they comply with both European and often stricter Nordic toy standards.
