Monocle has given Burel Factory "Best in Textiles in their Design Top 50 for 2023". As a distributor for Burel and an in-depth knowledge of their way of developing and manufacturing wool, that is understandable and well deserved. Burel uses wool from the sheep. who live in the mountains that surround the loom. They card, spin, dye and weave the wool at their own loom in Portugal's Sera de Estrella National Park. And they use old patterns from the 1950s, which are updated in terms of colors and sizes of patterns. It is a completely honest and sustainable product with timeless designs. It is very well deserved.
