Aviendo (Aviendo Design ApS)

While wooden figures have long been part of Denmark's design heritage, we felt there was room for something different: a more contemporary, design-led interpretation created for modern interiors and offered at an accessible price point.

Our journey began at the graduation exhibition of the Royal Danish Academy in 2013, where we met some of Denmark's most promising emerging designers. The first collaboration became The Ugly Duckling and established the philosophy that continues to guide Aviendo today: wooden objects reduced to their essence, crafted to last, and designed to reward a second look.

Today, Aviendo serves as a platform for a new generation of Danish and European designers. We collaborate with emerging creative talents to create distinctive wooden figures and interior objects that combine Scandinavian simplicity with understated details and honest materials.

Working with walnut, oak and beech alongside elements of copper and brass, we create pieces that bridge traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. The result is a collection of high-design wooden figures that feel equally at home in a design-conscious living room as they do as meaningful gifts.

At its core, Aviendo is about making great Danish design more accessible while giving tomorrow's designers a stage on which to be discovered.
