Rayas Collective

Founded in Berlin, Germany in 2022 by sisters-in-law Luisa and Consuelo, Rayas Collective was born after a visit to Consuelo’s home country of El Salvador. Inspired by our travels throughout the country, we developed a deep admiration for Salvadoran artisanship - its incredible resourcefulness, creativity, and adaptability.

Crafting beautiful, high-quality products with limited materials embodies this artistry. Through a close partnership with Vanesa and her family - an essential relationship that continues to shape our brand - we are committed to preserving traditional craftsmanship, strengthening community ties, and empowering local artisans through fair and sustainable production.

With her background in industrial design, Luisa is responsible for designing the baskets, including the sizes, handle lengths, color options, and patterns, as well as developing the visual identity of Rayas Collective. Consuelo, who has many years of experience in operations and logistics, manages all production communication and logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly.
