We love to use natural and sustainable materials — not only because they feel best to wear, but also because they last longer and are better for the environment. Among other materials, we use Lenzing Tencel, organic cotton, Lyocell, Bamboo and recycled polyester in timeless colors that last season after season. Production takes place mainly in Europe. It was important for us to find quality and ethical producers close to Denmark so we can work closely with them and ensure proper care in the production process. We are constantly focused on finding better and more environmentally friendly ways of doing things, and we look forward to expanding our line to include more environmentally friendly fabrics over time.

LYKKELAND ateliér was founded in 2022 by designer and creative enthusiast Heidie Lykke. Heidie has many years of experience in the fashion industry, and since 2008, she has worked to change the perception of plus-size or “curvy” fashion. With LYKKELAND ateliér, Heidie aims to challenge the status quo and encourage all women to love themselves and their bodies with a feel-good lifestyle brand that celebrates individuality and diversity.
