Forindet is a small stationery business based in Copenhagen. We make postcards about life, more precisely what it's like living in Denmark as a foreigner. Every card design is based on personal experience, Scandinavian aesthetic and humour. Our cards are meant to celebrate the simple life with all its beauty and absurdity, challenges and joys.
We are conscious about our impact on the Earth, which is why we have made a commitment to only use recycled paper and natural materials in our production. We care about our social impact as well, so we try to keep the production as local as possible and never plan to take it outside of the EU. We only endeavour to partner with producers that value and support worker’s rights.
All products are designed and illustrated by Radostina Kazakova: a Bulgarian artist who studied and now lives in Denmark. Every card is Scandinavia as seen by an outsider. The idea started when her parents came to visit for Christmas 2018 and were disappointed with the range of postcards they could find. The first 9 postcards about life in Denmark were launched about a year later.
