2nd Source Studio is a Danish design studio that creates aesthetic, long-lasting products from industrial surplus and leftover materials. We operate under a simple philosophy: good design should not only be beautiful – it should also be responsible.
Drawing on Scandinavian design traditions and a playful, experimental approach, we develop furniture and interior products that give new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste. Each product combines tactile quality, strong storytelling, and a design process where transparency and honesty are core values.

Upcycling textiles is our passion!
At Amolia we upcycle waste textiles collected from laundry houses around Denmark into new products such as cushion covers and bags.
We manually sort through each item by hand and cut out the reusable fabric. What can’t be upcycled is recycled and even used in some of our products.
Together we can close the loop.
