After 60 years in the pot industry: Finn Petersen passes the baton
After more than six decades in the green industry, 76-year-old Finn Petersen has chosen to transfer the activities of his pot company, NPA in Albertslund, to GrowDesign A/S. This ensures that Finn’s life’s work will be carried forward with respect and in line with the values he has built since 1963.
At the same time, GrowDesign strengthens its product range and its position as a supplier of quality products to the green industry.
NPA was founded and run by Finn Petersen, a well-known and respected figure in the industry, who has worked with pots and green solutions since 1963. After more than 60 years, Finn has personally chosen to pass the baton and has carefully selected GrowDesign as the right partner to continue NPA’s products and ensure continued high service levels.
“It has been important for me to finish in a good way. I have not closed down because something went wrong - quite the opposite. I have chosen myself to step back while things are going well and hand over the activities to someone I trust. GrowDesign understands the market, and I feel confident that both customers and suppliers will be well taken care of in the future,” says Finn Petersen.
GrowDesign will, among other things, take over the sale of the popular terracotta pots from the Italian manufacturer Degrea, known for their high quality, beautiful surfaces, and competitive prices. Going forward, the range will be part of GrowDesign’s permanent offering, benefiting both existing and new customers.
“Finn has built something strong, and we are grateful that he has entrusted us with the responsibility of carrying it forward. We will warmly welcome both customers and products and look forward to expanding our range with the Degrea pots,” says Lau Tuxen, CEO of GrowDesign.
