The design of more complicated magnet systems
is usually a mixture of calculation (e.g. with FEM programs), experience and iterative experimental
approximation. In addition to the actual electromagnetic problems, questions of ambient conditions, material properties and connection techniques play an important role. A professional approach significantly reduces the development effort and enables technically and economically optimal solutions.
