Etly Klarborg’s Annual Elves Celebrate 25th Anniversary

It is with great joy and gratitude that Etly Klarborg celebrates the 25th anniversary of her beloved Annual Elves.

For 25 years, these elves have spread coziness, wonder, and Christmas spirit in homes across the country, bringing joy, magic, and playful mischief into people’s hearts.
“They walk straight into people’s hearts in little elf clogs, charming their way into the lives of people of all ages, bringing joy and coziness to the dark, cold December,” says Etly Klarborg. Many choose to bring out their elves as early as November to enjoy them for as long as possible, and each year new ones join the collection.

For Etly, Christmas joy, adventure, imagination, and elves have always been an essential part of life — something she thanks her mother Sonja for.
“My childhood Christmas was a true fairy tale, with elves in the attic who played tricks and created Christmas magic at night,” Etly recalls. Sonja’s dedication to creating a magical Christmas, with beautiful homemade decorations and the scent of freshly baked Christmas cookies, has been the inspiration behind Etly’s creative universe.

This imaginative and childlike spirit is something Etly has never lost. It is what continues to bring the little elves to life in her hands.
“In the company of the elves, I forget time and place, and the little elves still pop into my head, both day and night,” says Etly.

The Annual Elves have been part of the Klarborg collection since the year 2000. The idea behind them was to create unique designs that people could collect.
“Being able to collect something gives more value — both to the collector and to the design,” explains Etly. Klarborg designs are often passed down through generations and given to children and grandchildren, creating great sentimental value for both collectors and us.

Each year, Etly creates a new set of Annual Elves, which have become highly sought-after collector’s items. Each set has its own quirky personality, expression, and small details that make them truly unique. They bring joy and warmth to every home, carrying their own charm and story with them.

Collectors eagerly await the reveal of each year’s set, excited to add it to their treasured Klarborg collection.
“It’s wonderful to be able to bring Christmas coziness, wonder, imagination, and elves into people’s hearts and homes,” says Etly.
