At Kunstindustrien we aim to upcycle and recycle as much as possible.
Our new range of Olive wax candles is an Upcycling product made from the discarded raw materials from Olive Oil production.
Olive trees are a resourceful provider through many years and by reusing the leftover pulp from olive oil production, to make candle wax, is a great way to help reducing our impact on the environment.
Supporting more circular products are better for us and for our planet.
So What is Upcycling?
Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality, such as artistic value or environmental value.
Using natural and organic extracts from plants, flowers and seeds, companies producing natural and organic products have traditionally contributed to bringing more naturality and sustainability in the market.
The increasing consumer demand for more sustainable products and the renewable qualities of natural raw materials are a perfect match to bring even more circular products into our lives.
Thru the last couple of years, Kunstindustrien has been looking more into upcycling possibilities of discarded raw materials that can be reused to produce candles.
By reusing as much as possible from the precious natural resources from our soils, we can help reduce our impact on the environment by supporting more circular products that are of great origin.
Products (for example candles) that are better for us, than other candles in the market, and better for our planet.
