KODANSKA is a story of uncompromising craftsmanship, creativity and functionality created by designer, Marie Graff. It all started in Prague, where Marie lived for a number of years with her family. "Kodanska" was the name of the street they lived on and means "Copenhagen Street". This is where the idea arose for what is today one of Denmark's most innovative glass companies. Quality is an overriding keyword in Kodanska's production and permeates both craftsmanship, design and functionality. All products are handmade unique products that contain a multitude of combinations, colors and patterns and create aesthetic, vibrant and unique exhibitions all year round.

CEO

Behind Kodanska is designer and CEO, Marie Graff. Kodanska means Copenhagen Street in Czech and is the name of the street in Prague where Marie and her family lived for a number of years. Marie's husband, Anders, was stationed in the country and this gave Marie a completely new everyday life with plenty of time and space for her innate creative urge and drive within entrepreneurship. This is where the idea for the company Kodanska arose. Marie was missing a salt jar in the home and could not find a version where both function and aesthetics went into a higher unity. This was the start of a collaboration with a local potter, who made Marie's ideas about the ideal salt jar a reality.
