The market for CBD and medical cannabis has exploded internationally, and the curiosity is also significant here in Denmark. Most recently, the many health effects of cannabidiol (CBD) were described in the Journal of Physicians.
However, it can be challenging to navigate the many terms, and the market is still relatively unregulated, making it difficult to navigate. That's what the book "Your Guide to CBD" aims to address. Behind the book is the female serial entrepreneur Rikke V. Stoltz, who came up with the idea for the book after helping a family member with chronic pain explore the possibility of getting help through CBD cannabis.
"I had heard so much about how even the non-euphoric part of CBD cannabis could help with chronic pain, performance anxiety, stress, and much more, so I was very curious about the area and decided to buy something for personal use so I could try it out," says author Rikke V. Stoltz.
"But I was very surprised at how much misleading information there is in the CBD market – and how quickly you can be deceived if you don't know what to look out for. Therefore, I decided to write 'Your Guide to CBD,' which in a down-to-earth and easily understandable language helps those curious about CBD to safely and effectively get started with trying it out.
Along with the book, Rikke V. Stoltz has launched the online universe MitFineLiv.dk, where she shares both knowledge about research in the field and her own personal experiences with CBD. In addition, she has founded the non-profit "Institute for Quality of Life", which aims to make life easier for people with chronic pain – and CBD may possibly be a good option for many.
