Friday 1 February the gastronomic competitions Trainee Chef of the Year, Trainee Waiter of the Year, Trainee Cater of the Year and Trainee Receptionist of the Year where held. At saturday 2 February the competitions Chef of the Year and Waiter of the Year.

This year, while you are on the lookout for exciting new products in Hall E and you are dedicated to learn more about the trends of this season, a group of people with a high intensity, creativity and small white hats will catch your eye.
For the first time ever Formland Spring 2019 welcomes the prestigious competitions where the election of Chef of the Year, Waiter of the Year, Trainee Chef of the Year, Trainee Waiter of the Year and Trainee Receptionist of the Year are held.
The event is a new cooperation between Formland and the Danish trade association Horesta. With this opportunity, Formland welcomes the gastranomic world, opens the doors to the café-, restaurant- and hotel industry and therefore unites aestethic and gastronomy.
The competitions and the election are held at Formland Spring 2019 from 31 January to 3 February, where the contestants cook and serve as if there were no tomorrow at what is known as the Danish Championship in their industry. Former winners of 'Chef of the Year' counts among others Michelin cooks as Rasmus Kofoed, Søren Ledet (Geranium) and Torsten Vildgaard (Noma).
You can look forward to a different but incredible and memorable experience as a visitor at Formland and also a whole new atmosphere in Hall E. Gastronomic and design both have focus on creativity and aesthetics and are therefore an evident supplement for each other.
