As a brand new feature, you can experience the FSC design Award Exhibition at Formland Spring 2019 in Hall F. Here Danish design students, who previously took part in the FSC Design Award 2018 and the magazine “Mad & Bolig” Design Award 2018, will present sustainable design solutions of the future.
In November 2018 the FSC Design Award was presented in Copenhagen. Young talented design students from all over Denmark exhibited their amazing and creative suggestions to the sustainable designs of the future and competed with each other for this year’s award.
Amongst a very strong field this year’s winner was elected. The winning design duo consists of Emma Bukhave Vidarsen and Anna Ohmsen with their lamp “Frames”.
About Frames the judges commented: “Frames is an aesthetic and beautiful lamp. A very interesting design which is dynamic and functional and can be transformed from having a three dimensional form to having a two dimensional form. The thoughts behind Frames are commercial and it can be developed and designed in many materials. It is a very strong design even though the pendel is thin and delicate in its expression.”
The two girls were also the winners of the magazine "Mad & Bolig’s" Design Award. It is the first time ever that a contestant wins both awards.
At Formland Spring 2019 in Hall F the winners and all the other contestants will present their suggestions for sustainable designs of the future.
